- Applying sunscreen daily whether hot, cold, sunshine or cloudy, indoors or outside is VITAL to protect against UVA, UVB and Blue lights which will reduce skin aging and damage.
- Water is life for a reason.. drinking 2-3L a day keeps skin and cells hydrated. If you think plain water is too boring, make it exciting for yourself and add different fruits in the water such as lemon, strawberries, blueberries, cucumber, orange, kiwi etc. for fresh, sweet hydration.
- Cleanse your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type.
- Rest!! That’s why it’s called beauty sleep. When you’re in a state of rest you’re giving your skin cells time to repair and renew themselves.
- Ashy ain’t cute so please moisturize your skin daily! You’re predisposing your skin to dryness and environmental damage when you don’t moisturize as it contains antioxidants and other vital ingredients such as water, essential oils and hyaluronic acid.
- Exfoliating removes dead skin cells that build up on your skin resulting in dry, oily and acne- prone skin. Save your skin from suffocating by exfoliating 3x weekly.
What are antioxidants? These are substances that can prevent or slow damage to cells caused by free radicals and include Vitamin C, E and A.
